spoke art

"Speak to Me/Breathe" Pink Floyd.

So a month or so ago, I found this awesome blog through facebook called Spoke Art.  Their whole theme is Tarantino VS. the Coen brothers (two of my favorite movie directors ever).  They collect a bunch of artists' movie prints, and blog about them!  I must admit I haven't seen all of their movies, but I've seen; Tarantino: Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol. I and II, and Death Proof (just watched today), Coen brothers: The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, and Burn After Reading.  Anyways so Spoke Art is very humorous, and I'm in love every time they post something new.

"The Jesus" by Darin Shock - "The Big Lebowski"

"What Does Marcellus Wallace Look Like?" by Oliver Barrett - Pulp Fiction
"Nothing is Fucked (Walter and the Dude)" by Jon Smith - Big Lebowski
"These Fucking Amateurs" by Evanimal- Big Lebowski
"Bloody Gore Dogs" by Rezatron - Resevoir Dogs. Love this one.
"Marcellus Wallace" by Tim Doyle - Pulp Fiction. (this is on wood! how cool is that?).  i always wondered why he had a band-aid on his head?
"I Can't Call it for You.  It Wouldn't Be Fair" by Daniel P. Williams.  No Country For Old Men.
Tarantino's Signature "Red Apple" cigs
"Comfortable Silence" by Johanna O'Donnell. Pulp Fiction
"Fabienne" by Sandi Calistro.  Pulp Fiction yet again. "did you get the pancakes?"
"I Wish Steve Was Here" by Seth Patrick. Big Lebowski and Reservoir Dogs... and of course Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here album.  love this.
"So How About That Lab Dance?" by Tatiana Suarez.  Death Proof.  this scene was pretty amusing I must admit.  i think i peed my pants when he showed her his "book".  That's when I knew he wasn't just passing through Austin.  but i couldn't take those short shorts or her gut hangin out there.

OK. I think I've butchered everyone's head with quentin and coen bros. so ta-ta for now. please watch these movies... they're incredible.  now reservoir dogs is next on my list  =]
